Whiskey Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces (about 60mls) bourbon
- 1 ounce (about 30mls) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 egg white (optional)
Garnish:
- 1 cherry or 1 slice of orange or nothing at all
Method:
- Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker
- Add ice
- Shake for at least 10 seconds (if you use the egg white shake harder and for a bit longer)
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or an old fashioned glass with 1 large ice cube
- Garnish as desired
