The rye used in this whisky was milled by Dutch windmills! September 2019 release of Millstone Torpedoed Tulip Dutch Single Rye Whisky was created for the British BrewDog Distilling Co. as part of their Boilermaker Series. Millstone is one of the best whiskies from The Netherlands, if not the best. It was created by the Zuidam Distillery, which has been in operation since 1975. The first batches of Millstone were already distilled in 1997, but were not released until 2007, when Master Distiller Patrick van Zuidam (son of the distillery’s founder Fred van Zuidam) was satisfied with the whisky.
