A mezcal with fruity, sweet tones and a slight coconut flavor; followed by hints of herbs and spices. The most widely distributed maguey, ancestor of the tequila blue maguey and henequen. Chelem (maya), doba-yej (Zapotec: maguey de flor), hamoc (seri), juya cuu (May: mezcal del monte), yavi incoyo (mixteco), amole, bacanora, field maguey, espadilla, espadín, mezcal zapupe.
