Quick Overview

The Bruichladdich distillery on the Isle of Islay in Scotland was founded in 1881 and later closed for a period of time in the 1990s. In 2000, Mark Reynier, a former wine merchant, led a group of partners to resolutely save and buy Bruichladdich, and then led Bruichladdich to glory again. In 2012, Bruichladdich was acquired by Rémy Cointreau Group. Now Bruichladdich has become a popular brand in the whisky market, and it has three whisky brands: Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore.
