Clément Rhum Vieux Single Cask Canne Bleue is a rhum agricole from Martinique made from the rare Canne Bleue (Blue Cane) sugarcane and distilled from fresh cane juice in accordance with AOC Martinique regulations. Each release is drawn from a single barrel, making it a limited and unique bottling.
The rum is aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks for around 4 years and 5 months, developing an elegant character with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, honey, vanilla and gentle oak, leading to a long and smooth finish.
Tasting notes:
Colour: dark amber.
Nose: fruity, sweet, notes of tropical fruit.
Flavour: complex, notes of orange blossom, citrus fruit, hints of honey, vanilla, figs, tannins.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet.
