The Kyrö Distillery Company is a Finnish distillery specializing in rye gin and rye whiskey best known for its Napue Rye Gin, winner of the Best Gin for Gin and Tonic category in 2015 at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC). The distillery is incorporated as Rye Rye Oy.

Kyrö Peat Smoke combines the Finnish terrain with our Rye Whisky using 100 % Finnish malted rye that is smoked using Finnish freshwater peat.

Vatted together using mainly Kyrö Peat Smoke New American Oak, Ex-Bourbon barrels and additionally some Kyrö Malt Ex-Bourbon barrels. The exact proportions vary batch by batch.

This truly unique rye whisky gets its charm from the malt smoked in a barn with Finnish freshwater peat. Just like in the olden days in the north. The richness of the liquid is characterised by vanilla and waxy smoke on the nose.
