Yeun Elez is a peated breton whisky, distilled from 50ppm peated malted barley from Scotland. Breton Single Malt whisky, it has been distilled and matured to highlights its delicate, elegant, and fruity peat.
The name Yeun Elez comes from an old peat bog located in the heart of the Natural Park of Armorique, and cradle of many Breton legends (like the one of Tadic Coz represented on the pack).
NOSE: Beautiful aromatic intensity, the peat is medicinal (camphor, cloves) but supported by fruity notes, bananas, cooked peaches, and cream pastry.
MOUTH: The smoke rounds the palate, citrus notes bringing freshness. Nice roundness with a hint of salinity.
FINISH: A lingering, iodized and spicy finish, ending with a warm wood fire.
