The Scottish whisky distillery Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One™ team are celebrating their long-term partnership with a limited edition 16-year-old bottling of Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The two companies announced their partnership in November 2024 and officially started it at the Grand Prix in Las Vegas.
The whisky for this Glenfiddich 16 YO was matured in American oak wine casks, New American barrels and second-fill bourbon casks, according to Glenfiddich's latest press release. They lent the whisky characteristic notes of maple syrup and caramelised ginger and a silky composition of a fresh fruit variety and aromatic Chantilly cream, which merges into a smooth and powerful finish.
Tasting notes：
Nose: Rich and beautifully-sweet on the nose with biscuity cheesecake base, maple syrup, caramelised ginger, and subtle toasted oak notes.
Palate: Indulgent on the palate with confectionary sweet notes and a silky, syrupy mouthfeel.
Finish: Super smooth with a sustained sweetness on the finish.
