People tend to warm up the sauna for those whom they hold dear, so it’s only fitting to do the same for special whiskies. When a barrel of whisky enters a sauna, it undergoes a similar process to the human soul. The wood absorbs heat and moisture, the pores open, and there's a bit of sweat. Slowly, the whisky warms up and relaxes. What was once in conflict mellows, and flavours that once clashed become harmonious, like neighbours sharing a sauna and a dram.
