The detailed and meticulous brush craftsmanship, a defining feature of traditional Gongbi style, elegantly comes to light in this painting inspired by LI Bai’s poem « Observing the Moon » (Tang Dynasty). As a nod to an endearing folklore character, the Jade Rabbit, the artist offers a glimpse into ancient Chinese art traditions, while introducing a visual interpretation of Maison Billecart-Salmon’s philosophy and motto « Give priority to quality, strive for excellence ».

Delicate laurus flowers with their pink hues, suggestive of Champagne Brut Rosé, portray a peaceful and idyllic scenery.
